Quote of the Day “I long to accomplish a great and noble task, but it is my chief duty to accomplish small tasks as if they were great and noble.”
- Helen Keller
She started as a Formula 3 race car driver in the Philippines, however Gaby Dela Merced now finds herself in the US racing for Spoon Sports in the NASA Western Endurance Championship Series. Certainly a perfect selection as our newest MINDstylist, Gaby juggles being a race car driver, TV host, reality TV star, artist and an avid art toys collector.
As a member of the MINDstyle family, Gaby definitely brings a fresh style all her own. She recently finished her first custom DIY figure as part of the Stitch Experiment 626 Project Tour and is now working on her own art toy designs.
She considers herself a racer first and foremost, even with her success back home in entertainment. Gaby says, “my goals are set on being a well respected racer and I won’t stop until reaching that goal however long it takes.” Interestingly, she started collecting vinyl back in early 2002 when she came across her first Gardener figure by Michael Lau at a local toy shop and has been collecting vinyl ever since. As a MINDstylist, she is looking forward to being part of the whole Art Toys movement and ponders on the idea of one day collaborating with the vinyl pioneer himself. With Gaby’s determination and passion, all things are possible!
