Tin Toy is a 1988 Pixar Animation Studios short film. It was directed by John Lasseter and won the 1988 Academy Award for Animated Short Film. In 2003, Tin Toy was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being “culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant”. The highly anticipated limited edition art toy collectible (ATC) figure will be released at this year’s San Diego Comic Con.
