Quote of the Day “We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we’re curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.
- Walt Disney
We’ve been inundated with requests and orders for what seems to be fast becoming one of the must have collectible figures for this year’s San Diego Comic Con. Many of you have asked to see more of the work-in-progress which we are happy to share with fans around the world. 30 years later, it’s amazing to see the huge interest in this Disney classic.
V.I.N.CENT. will take nearly a seventy five hits to paint. With the figure being done in roto-vinyl, the style and paint had to be approached differently from a model kit or resin.
Each color and part for each figure is painted one at a time by using a copper spray mask. The figures are then ready for hand painting before going to the next step.
After the first QC inspection, the figures are prepared for deco “pad” printing.
The decals and details for each figure are then done by pad printing which could best be described as similar process to a silk screen printing.
