A keen sense of humor helps us overlook the unbecoming, understand the unconventional, tolerate the unpleasant, overcome the unexpected and outlast the unbearable.
- Billy Graham
Written and directed by John Lasseter, Tin Toy was our first choice in selecting from the Pixar short films library. Lasseter designed Tinny as a one man band back in 1988 in the classic inventive short film that preceded the blockbuster Pixar Animation Studios feature films like Finding Nemo, Cars and Toy Story. In this case, to capture the same style and approach of the short film, the collectible figure was designed to duplicate a tin toy; but is produced vinyl materials and hand painted. Limited to only 500 pieces worldwide, the art toy collectible (ATC) figures will launch at SDCC.
