The Buff Monster is releasing his latest 8 inch figure on Tuesday, March 18th. These are available at Toy Tokyo, 3D Retro, My Plastic Heart and a few other select retailers for $74.99. To meet the overwhelming demand of these figures, the edition size is 300 pieces worldwide but still very limited. Buff will be in New York for Comic Con at MINDstyle booth #1313. Be sure to join him at his upcoming Giant Robot NYC solo show that happens to be the same time as NYCC. Giant Robot on 437 East 9th Street will definitely be the place to be after a full day at the con.

MINDstyle Toy Fair 2008

In what seems to be a bigger and busier, Toy Fair is turning out to be the place to be. As one of the few art toys companies with a presence at the New York show, MINDstyle is happy to be a part of the movement with its family of talented artists and amazing products. The MINDstyle family has been meeting with heads and even a few artists, on upcoming projects and crossovers with plans to continue expanding its line. Co-Founder MD Young stated, "these shows are always a good opportunity to meet with other companies in person. There seems to be a huge buzz on many of our mini series on preview from Kathie Olivas' Scavengers to Jim Henson's Fraggle Rock 25th Anniversary figures to the showstopper, Mecchtorians by Doktor A."

BUFF MONSTER NYC

The rain and cold weather was not enough hamper fans and party-goers from attending MINDstyle's x Toy Tokyo official toy release for Buff Monster's new 8 inch exclusive. It was a warm New York welcomes as Buff Monster was able to sign and talk with fans. A cool list of guests, heads and fellow artists were in attendance. Surely, a sign of more exciting NYC events to come.

Ron English, NYC Lase, Sket-One were a few of the noteables at the release and more than happy to sign and chat.

MINDstyle x Doktor A = Next Level

Toy Fair opened today in New York City and MINDstyle launced the all new mini figure sereis from Doktor A. Long known for creating some of the most amazing custom figures, the good Doktor teams up with MINDstyle to deliver the MECHTORIANS. The first series of six characters is scheduled for a fall release. The word is out... next level.

World Sneak Preview!!!

The word is out... based on Kathie Olivas' original paitings and sculptures, the highly anticipated SCAVENGERS mini figure series will be introduced at Toy Fair. Buyers and retail heads can visit MINDstyle booth 5745 at the Javits Convention Center in New York City from Sunday, February 17 to Wednesday, February 20 to get a first look. The series is slated for worldwide release in Spring 2008.

Inspired by early American portraiture that often depicted children as small adults in an idealized new land, the characters parallel this vision within their own sense of post-apocalyptic conformity, uniquely documenting their own stories in a mysterious brave new world.

With 11 new mini figures and three secret chaser figures, MINDstyle's SCAVENGERS by Kathie Olivas will surely cause a frenzy among fans and collectors.

MINDstyle and Dark Horse Comics Ink Worldwide Sales Agreement

Dark Horse is proud to announce they have signed an agreement to act as exclusive sales agent for the entire program of licensed products for MINDstyle—a California-based company who has recently emerged as a leading manufacturer of high-end collectible figures. The initial offerings, slated for release beginning in March, will include deluxe limited-edition vinyl figures and specialty products based on the classic Jim Henson film The Dark Crystal, comics artist Frank Cho’s Liberty Meadows, and award- winning painter Brom’s acclaimed book The Plucker.
